Today for Lord's Day sermon, Uncle Don spoke on Jonah and the Great Fish. He said to the "world" it might be considered one of the biggest tall tales in the Bible...but to Christians it is God's Holy Word.
How can a man live in a great fish for 3 days/3 nights? I don't know...but God does.
How can he be vomited up and told by God to "Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee."
I don't know...but God does.
To Christians:
"FAITH is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen."(Hebrews 11:1)
"With God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26)
That's all I need to know! Jesus is my hope and therefore my faith doesn't waiver.
