Happy St. Patrick's Day!

What a glorious day it is here in eastern Kansas! The weather is currently a wonderful 79 degrees.  Just loving it! The girls and I did some morning shopping and soon we will head to have our taxes done this evening. Probably not one of our favorite chores but a duty and responsibility! We will go out to eat before so that is a treat!

Corn beef, cabbage, red potatoes, and bread will be on the menu for tomorrow evening. My mom used to always fix it and we so enjoyed that treat. Now that my Dad is gone and my mom is in the nursing home, I want to continue the tradition for my children. I miss those dinners so much and mine will not be as delicious as hers but I will try!  Do you fix the tradition meal known?

Lily-Jo celebrated her 1st St. Patrick's Day and has had a great day....she is such a good little shopper! Grandma can't help but get her some goodies!

I love making family traditions. We usually do not celebrate St. Patricks day. Sounds like you and yours had a great time. Yes, the little one is beautiful and Grandma has every rite to spoil her. Blessings!

That is what traditions are for...to be passed down. It is nice that you are honoring your mom and dad by doing so. Lily-Jo looks so cute in her little outfit.:)
