Happy Birthday to My Best Friend!!

Today is my husband's 49th Birthday!  It is also his side of the family's Christmas! So I first want to say a BIG Happy Birthday to him! He is the best Husband, Daddy, Daddy in Law, Son, Son in Law and Brother! I didn't get to spend the day with him as I spent the day at the hospital with my Mom but he understood  and we plan to have a fun family night soon. That's why he is so great....he always puts everyone else before him. He will do whatever for whoever whenever! He is a Christian man first and foremost. God always comes first with him. He is so tenderhearted and just adores his babies. They are 24, 22, 19, and 16 but they are his babies. We now have a little family joke that his birthday is generally spent with some type of chaos and it generally is not just a relaxing day for him to enjoy.  One year he had to take the cat to the vet and had to make the decision to have her put to sleep and then come home and bury her, another year his little Darb had broke her arm and had surgery on it and we spent his birthday at Children's Mercy, another year his Dad was in the hospital, and this year his Mom in law is in the hospital. Those are just to name a few! He never complains about those birthdays. Next year, we will do the big party for the big one!

Simply the Best!
We love you Daddy!

Hi Tanya, I am new to your blog...I found you through Nancy's. I saw your comment about a difficult time, and felt led to come visit. My Mom also had Alzheimers, so I know just how difficult this time really is. Please know that I will be praying for you and yours, and that I am here if you need an understanding ear...someone who has walked this walk to talk to. You can email me at junktojoyshop@yahoo.com any time!!

May God blanket your spirit with peace and rest, and may you feel His loving arms around you and your Mom.

Praying gentle blessings for you this Christmas,
Hugs and love in Christ,
Becky
